Save a Life, Foster A Dog
Waifs And Strays Dog Rescue is set up as a non profit making organisation. The objectives of this Association are: to take in and re-home unwanted dogs; to provide a special living environment; to help them adapt and find permanent homes of their own. We are always looking for committed volunteers who can either, foster, help, fundraise or rehome for the Association. If this is you or you just want to follow what is going on then please have a look around the site and get as involved as you can
Foster A Dog

Through our excellent network and great volunteers, we've been able to re-home numerous dogs that otherwise would have been destroyed. We also rely on foster homes to temporarily find solutions for our dogs until a forever home can be found. If you would like to be considered for fostering or re-homing then start the ball rolling here.

Waifs and Strays is a charity that relies on the generosity of so many people. From fosters to carers, workers, fundraisers everyone has something to give. We also need to fund the care of these exceptional animals and having to pay for health care, food, toys, bedding and the like is no small task and relies on financial donations to help our dogs rehabilitate into their forever home.     Dawny is a 5 year old Chihuahua x papillion
    Great with other dogs and good with children
    She is a very well behaved little girl, who has settled in well in her foster home.
    She is calm and loves a cuddle
    She is good on the lead and has good recall but never wanders far.
    Dawny is neutered and chipped aqnd will be vaccinated.

    Winston is a small, gorgeous 8 month old Jack Russell cross Chihuahua

    He is a fun loving little boy great with other dogs, he loves them and has so much fun with them but isnt to keen on sharing his human when he has them to himself, so on going training will be needed with this behaviour.
    He definitley can NOT live with cats.
    He is good on the lead and has good recall
    He is a very loving boy who adores the one to one attention
    Winston is to be neutered, vaccinated and is chipped

    He is an 18 month old Chihuahua cross
    Toby is a small boy with a big personality, he has settled well into his foster home but can be dominant at times, due to lack of traing and socialisation, he is learning but needs on going training.
    He is a loving boy who gets on with other well mannered dogs, he is in foster with a cat that hes not really bothered by.
    Toby would really like a home where someone is around most of the day. He is house trained, walks well on a lead and would love a forever home of his own with no young children. He is upto date with his vaccinations, netured and mirco chipped.

    Bailey is a 4 year old cream smooth coated chihuahua.
    vaccinated, neutered and mirco chipped.
    Bailey has come into rescue through no fault of his own, he has proved to be a lovely boy, hes well mannered and has settled in well.
    He is in foster with 4 other dogs and loves being part of the pack! He also lives with a cat which he isn’t bothered by.
    Children over 5 years old.
    He is house trained and walks well on the lead!
