Save a Life, Foster A Dog
Waifs And Strays Dog Rescue is set up as a non profit making organisation. The objectives of this Association are: to take in and re-home unwanted dogs; to provide a special living environment; to help them adapt and find permanent homes of their own. We are always looking for committed volunteers who can either, foster, help, fundraise or rehome for the Association. If this is you or you just want to follow what is going on then please have a look around the site and get as involved as you can
Foster A Dog

Through our excellent network and great volunteers, we've been able to re-home numerous dogs that otherwise would have been destroyed. We also rely on foster homes to temporarily find solutions for our dogs until a forever home can be found. If you would like to be considered for fostering or re-homing then start the ball rolling here.

Join Our Community

At Waifs and Strays Dog Rescue we believe that a close community allows us to reach out to far more people and also keep you up to date with what's going on. Have a look and see what we're talking about.

Make A Donation

Waifs and Strays is a charity that relies on the generosity of so many people. From fosters to carers, workers, fundraisers everyone has something to give. We also need to fund the care of these exceptional animals and having to pay for health care, food, toys, bedding and the like is no small task and relies on financial donations to help our dogs rehabilitate into their forever home. Latest Dogs Needing A Home

Boomer is a very cute Pug cross, who is 15 months old
Great with children, other dogs but not good with cats.
Boomer would benefit from living with an active family, where someone is home most of the time, or Boomer can be involved in the family activities, he would also enjoy living with another small to medium dog but not essential.
he is a bit timid on first meeting people but comes round very quickly, he would very much benefit from socialising with people and dogs more regularly in his new home.
Boomer is vaccinated and chipped and we shall be neutering him prior to adoption
To apply, please e mail; adopt@waifsandstraysdogrescue.co.uk

This loving boy is a 9 year old Staffordshire Bullterrier and is ADORABLE!!!
He is still energetic but is extremely good on the lead and does not pull at all, despite being a stocky boy.
He is good with other dogs, not yet cat tested
Old Blue came to us with a skin condition, he is allergic to flea bites and as this had been neglected, his skin was red raw 🙁 but with treatment, this has almost totally cleared up, he just needs his gorgeous blue coat to grow back fully.
He just loves EVERYONE but takes a particular shine to men
These photos do not do this very handsome any credit but getting him to sit still for a photograph, when there are people around him to fuss and love, was pretty impossible LOL
Old Blue is to complete his treatment and will be neutered vaccinated and chipped prior to adoption
to apply please e mail; adopt@waifsandstraysdogrescue.co.uk
